Our activities are incredible, our facilities incomparable. Set on 30 wooded acres, campers enjoy a natural camp environment enhanced with so many opportunities for summer fun. Each area of camp has been created to meet the needs of a specific age level of campers. The main building is fully air-conditioned and provides space for a gymnastics room, dance studio, a karate center, arts-and-crafts rooms, a drama studio, and a fully equipped gymnasium. Our buildings have bunks for changing and recreational halls that are ideal for indoor games and rainy-day activities. With two basketball courts, and state-of-the-art rock climbing and challenge course.
Maplewood’s outdoor facilities include two heated Olympic-size pools, five-acre pond, regulation size basketball court, soccer field, playing fields, beach volleyball courts, archery range, garden, outdoor performing stage, and eighteen-hole miniature golf course. There is a pavilion for eating lunch and an abundance of wooded shady areas. Maplewood is a handicapped-accessible facility.
Campers bring their lunches while fruit punch and other refreshments are provided. Lunches are refrigerated. A snack of ice cream or some other special treat is provided each afternoon.
