Supervision & Safety: Maplewood Country Day Camp’s number one priority is the safety and supervision of each camper. Our caring and highly skilled counselors and specialists make certain that campers feel supported and included. A child who spends his or her summer at Maplewood will be placed 
with and be cared for by nurturing, energetic individuals. They encourage campers to believe in themselves and help them to embrace new friendships and adventures. Through group bonding and camp activities, they foster an inclusive, caring community. We consider it a big compliment that many of our counselors and specialists return to camp year after year. In fact, many of our staff members were once Maplewood campers!
Highly qualified teachers and their assistants lead specialty activities. They work closely with the group counselors in order to offer the campers individual attention. Our specialists work with children in swimming, boating, gymnastics, dance, arts & crafts, martial arts, drama, music, archery, and rock climbing & the ropes challenge course.
